About Chicago Wastewater Bonds

The City of Chicago is responsible for the operation, maintenance, repair, improvement, and extension of the City's sewer system. The City’s municipal sewer system provides sewage and drainage collection and conveyance for a service area of 230 square miles and 2.7 million people.
